The Lafayette School Corporation administers 12 high schools, middle schools and elementary schools in Lafayette, Indiana.

Originally known as the School City of Lafayette, the district became the Lafayette School Corporation on January 1, 1963. Its superintendents have included:

In August of 2006 Lafayette Tecumseh Junior High School (formerly Tecumseh Middle School) was renamed, and assigned to serve all 7th and 8th grade students in the LSC. Lafayette Sunnyside Middle School will take all 5th and 6th grade students by August 2007.
