Lafayette Park is a public park within the Westlake district of Los Angeles. Lafayette Park is fenced off and closed at night avoiding much of the negative reputation that its affects its immediate neighbor MacArthur Park. Slight but noticeable change towards gentrification centered on condominiums and apartments near the park is in part due to the expansion of Koreatown.
