Should't his draft team be the Anaheim Mighty Ducks since he was drafted by Anaheim before they changed their team name to just the Anaheim Ducks? --Thricecube 18:13, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

You do know that their name was officially the "Mighty Ducks of Anaheim", right? And no, the franchise has not changed the name or changed locations, the new owner simply wanted to rid themselves of ridicule by changing to a more ordinary name, so the franchise is the same that has drafted Smid. If they had changed the name to the Anaheim Dogs, then you might have a case. Re-arranging the phrasing of their name does not split this Ducks franchise from the one that drafted Smid.
