Lady Grinning Soul

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Lady Grinning Soul" is a song written by English singer-songwriter David Bowie for the album Aladdin Sane (Track 10) in 1973. The piece is a James Bond style song, there are various reports that Lady Grinning Soul would be a James Bond film, yet these are probably rumors arising from the style of the song. The song is 3:53 minutes long.

It has been noted by various Bowie biographers that the inspiration for this song came after David's first meeting with American soul singer Claudia Lennear during his 1972 USA tour.
