Lady Colin Campbell

Lady Colin Campbell, known as Georgie, is a writer, biographer, autobiographer, novelist and radio interviewer, known for her biography of Diana, Princess of Wales, The Real Diana.
The child of Michael Ziadie, she was born in Jamaica on 23rd October 1946. On account of her indeterminate birth gender, she was for the first eight years of her life brought up as a boy. Following surgery at the age of 21[citation needed], she adopted the name Georgia Ariana Ziadie. In 1974 she married Lord Colin Ivar Campbell, ygr son of Ian Campbell, 11th Duke of Argyll. Upon discovering the circumstances of her early years, he divorced her in 1975.
She has two adopted Russian-born sons.
