Lackawanna Blues

Lackawanna Blues is an American television movie that aired in 2005. It is based on the musical play that dramatized the real-life story of Ruben Santiago Jr. set from 1950s–1960s in Lackawanna, New York.
For her work in the movie, S. Epatha Merkerson won a Best Actress, Golden Globe Award in 2006 and an Best Actress Emmy Award in the same year.
