Hailing from Santa Barbara[1], California, Lacie Heart rapidly became one of the most popular porn stars of 2005-6 due to her pretty girl-next-door looks and her giggly yet softly-spoken personality. Lacie appeared in several dozen gonzo films and websites and gained further fame and popularity appearing in Jenna Jameson's American Sex Star contest, which she controversially lost. Subsequently she was signed up as a contract performer for Vivid Entertainment in early 2006. As of August 2006, Lacie Heart is still in the industry though there were many rumours of her retirement to settle down with boyfriend and fellow performer Scott Nails. There are also rumors floating around of a student from the University of Pennsylvania named Richard Nelson, with whom she is currently in an "open relationship," according to facebook.com.
She went to Templeton High School and her real name is Brittany Rosenthal.[citation needed]
