Lach

Lach is a musician associated with the Anti-folk movement.
He has three albums on the Fortified label, produced by Richard Barone, and promotes the club, Sidewalk Cafe, in New York City. Lach has been hosting the infamous "antihootenanny" and calling his music "antifolk" (one word, no hyphen) since the mid 80's and it has moved around since then. It currently takes place at the above mentioned Sidewalk Cafe, and is something of an East Village institution. Most of the well known antifolk acts have played at this monday night singer songwriter event, including Regina Spektor, The Moldy Peaches, Jeffrey Lewis and Beck.
