Lacey Turner

Lacey Amelia Turner[1] (born on 28 March 1988) is an English actress best known for playing Stacey Slater, in the popular BBC television soap EastEnders.
Before joining the soap in November 2004 she auditioned for the role of Demi Miller but eventually agreed to take on the role of Stacey who would become a much more significant character than Demi (who was relatively short-lived in the series).

Turner was born in London. She lives with her parents and two younger sisters Daisy and Lily in Hertfordshire. Her second cousin is actor Philip Dowling who played Leo Taylor in EastEnders in 2005.
She is close friends with her on screen friend Louisa Lytton who also originally auditioned for the role of Demi Miller.
Her boyfriend is a hairdresser in London.

Turner has been nominated for numerous awards, notably the NTA award for best newcomer, in 2005 (for which she was beaten by Coronation Street star Antony Cotton). Turner did win the TV Quick & TV Choice 2005 best newcomer. In 2006, she was nominated for best actress in the British Soap Awards along with close friend Jessie Wallace.[2] She also joined Lytton in nominations for sexiest actress 2006. She won the 'Best Actress' award at the British Soap Awards in May 2006.
During September 2006 Lacey Turner Won 2 Inside Soap Awards for Best Actress and for Best Couple which she shared with Charlie Clements.
