Lacey Township High School

Lacey Township High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in Lacey Township, New Jersey, as part of the Lacey Township School District. As of the 2004-05 school year, the school served 1,526 students.[1]
Its symbol is a lion's paw, for the "Lacey Lions."
On June 6, 1997, 18 year-old student Melissa Drexler (a.k.a., "The Prom Mom") gave birth to and then killed her newborn son in a stall at the school's Senior Prom in Aberdeen Township. [2]

Maurice Grillon, III, was recognized by Princeton University as one of four outstanding New Jersey secondary school teachers, honored at its June 1, 2004 Commencement. Through Grillon's efforts, the school's German language program was expanded to 210 students.[3]
