Lacchiarella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 9 km northeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,542 and an area of 24.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Lacchiarella contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Casirate Olona, Villamaggiore, and Mettone.
Lacchiarella borders the following municipalities: Zibido San Giacomo, Pieve Emanuele, Basiglio, Binasco, Siziano, Casarile, Vidigulfo, Giussago, Bornasco.
