Alexandra lived her childhood in a small town of southern Florida. She'd always been smart as a child as she could absorb information from books so easily. She had a decent life but she wanted more for herself than to just become another real-estate agent or insurance accessor. When she turned 18 she spent all over her saved money from working long hours at the local diner, to buy a plane ticket and apartment in LA. She knew that she was willing to risk everything to pursue acting as it now was her dream, even though she knew that she had little success at becoming famous. She went to many auditions for a wide variety of films and for each one she was turned down. But she never gave up on her dream. One day while trying out for the role of the lead for the movie version of the A List, she was accepted to her first call back, and after that, her life totally changed it's course. She was given the lead to the new movie and had a contract to do all 5 books. Suprisingly, the movie was a huge success, giving Alexandra an instant in to Hollywood. Within a couple of months Alexandra became one of the It girls along with girls such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton and she was immdeiatly on the cover of all major fashion magazines. Although Alexandra is often associated with such celebrities as Lindsay, Paris and Jessica Simpson, she is nothing like them as she is a very down to earth girl and would rather spend her time traveling and staying home than partying at various clubs. In between filming, Alexandra spends the bulk of her time traveling the world and volunteering with the UN and working in third world countries. Directors and friends call her one of the most pleasant people to work with since she is so uninfected by the tabloids and critics surronding her. She loves the experience of being famous but she also takes nothing for granted. I think most celebrities could learn a lesson or two from this classic girl.
