This page is about the live-action roleplaying game Labyrinth. For uses of the word labyrinth see labyrinth (disambiguation).

Labyrinthe or Labyrinthe: Live Roleplaying game is based at the Chislehurst Caves (near Sidcup in Kent, UK) Labyrinthe is open every weekend of the year providing adventures in the extensive cave system. the natural advantage of this location is that the weather isn't a factor. Overland adventures are also organised however.

The system grew out of the Treasure Trap system over 20 years ago and has been running continuouisly since then. Founded by Pete Garner then taken on by Jan McManus, then Simon Morgan of Eldrich and most recently by Andy Byatt, Duncan Matthias and Phil Branscombe. Known as the Caves Management Team (CMT)

The system, though simple at the start, develops in complexity past the "8th" level through a system of points earned for adventuring. There are a large number of source books for the various classes and races available to players.

The outstanding concept of labyrinthe was the decision to allow individual & unique abilities for player's characters. These are applied for (nicknamed "Yellow Paper") by players. The ability they wish is written down and given into the Game System manager. He will then pass or fail the ability and put a cost and points threshold on the ability.

Players dress up a variety of costumes - Goblins, Knights, Maidens etc, and then complete tasks and battle each other.
