[edit] Overview
These Lab Assistants work for Doctor Neo Cortex. They usually consist of a menace to Crash and his friends, especially if found in numerous numbers. Do not be fooled by their human appearance- the Lab Assistants are actually androids (which means they're robotic beings with the appearance and behaviour of male humans.) Crash Bandicoot found an Assistant generator once. It would create vast amounts of these androids and warp them to several different eras, through the aid of the Time Twister.
The Lab Assistants are the most common enemies that can be found, and they have many different appearances and attacks. Below is a list of every type of Lab Assistants. In Crash Bandicoot: Warped, they can be seen behind the window, in the warp room of levels 26-30. A huge stamp styles them in a second into the many kinds of enemies, warped into the level he should be in (They are the Arabian Sworsmen; Mummies; Knights; and Chinese - the kind carrying buckets).
[edit] Types of Lab Assistants
- Normal - These throw beacons at Crash.

- Electrified - They look like normal Lab Assistants, but they can produce energy bolts.
- Appearances: Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
- Flame Throwers - They use a flamethrower, and hang from the ceiling. Intervally, they shine a torchlight, looking up (this is where Crash can spin them away).
- Hunters - Dressed in hunter garments, they shoot slow bullets with their guns.
- Appearances: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back
- Hammering - They're dressed in blue overalls with a red shirt and hat. They proceed to smash Crash with their large wooden hammers.

- Shielded - They try to push Crash off of cliffs by using a big shield, unless Crash repays the favor. These are the only Lab Assistants to have blond hair.
- Knights - Dressed as knights, they try to carry a heavy sword, but can only lift it for a while, which makes them spin.
- Appearances: Crash Bandicoot: Warped
- Frogs - When these frogs kiss Crash, they turn into their true form: a prince Lab Assistant.
- Appearances: Crash Bandicoot: Warped
