Description

A tree of +Laburnocytisus 'Adamii', a so-called "graft hybrid" or "graft-chimaera". This tree was created by grafting a purple broom, Cytisus purpureus, onto a laburnum, and has flowers typical of both plants as well as some which are intermediate between the two. For more information, see 'Adamii'.

This is a scan from a medium-format transparency which I took at the Chelsea Physic Garden.
