La Policia De Mustace is a New Wave band from Rochester, New York. It sprung to life on June 5th, 2005 with the bands first recordings.

In 2002 while in Wisconsin, Keith Kessler discovered his true musical ambitions to become a serious musician. Keith started his life rebelling against his fathers desires to see his son. Keiths father, Alija Kessler, severed a few of his fingers during a lawn mowing accident limiting his abilities to play guitar. Keith returns to this event in the song 'I Hate Lawn Moeing' which expresses Keiths anguish over the whole traumatizing circumstances.
In 2002 Keith began to expand his -skills that his father had taught him as a child. He realized his musical ambitions after hearing the song 'Everybody's workin For The Weekend' by Loverboy at a family reunion in Wisconsin.
Phill Thompson began his life very unaware of the greatness of music. He lived his life not taking much seriously and overseeing the rope he needed to climb to reach the importance his life needed, escaping from the vast plains of blandness. Phill started playing Bass when he attended a party in Keiths backyard. The great sounds of ska permeated Keiths stereo system as the party raged on. Phill was instantly stunned by this divine sound and knew that moment that he would pursue a life of music.
Phill and Keith met at a Meat Loaf concert early in 2003. At the hotdog stand Phill knocked over a bottle of mustard which engulfed Keiths hotdog (This later inspired the tune 'Mustard'). After this Keith and Phill began to talk and share there love for Meatloaf and music which created the firm base of their friendship.
In June of 2005 they set sail on there first full length album Loser Slants after realizing that this would be the perfect way to use there musical skills.
Policia has sence, recorded 4 albums. Including 1 in the making. There are also rumers of a live polica album that has ben recorded which Policia fans are going wild trying to get. But the members are hiding it safely away.
Currently the new untitled record is being recorded. Some early titles included Granny Pictures and Insert Title Here. Insiders reported this may be the best and final polica album.
