La Voz del Interior

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

La Voz del Interior is a daily Spanish language newspaper edited and published in Córdoba, capital of the province of Córdoba, Argentina and the second-largest city in the country. It was founded on 15 March 1904 by Silvestre Rafael Remonda and Juan Dionisio Naso. Its first director was José Dionisio Naso.

The newspaper is the leading daily in Córdoba, and one of the most important in the country outside of Buenos Aires. On 21 September 1995 its production process and layout were completely redesigned. Computerized edition was introduced, and the paper began to be printed on a Goss Headliner press, in full colour. One year later the online version of La Voz del Interior, called Intervoz, was started; its name was changed to La Voz on line in 2000. Dynamic updates with breaking news were introduced in 2001, along with a new format.

Since 14 August 2000, the newspaper also publishes a special edition, the regional supplement Zona Centro, which is distributed along with the main issue in the provincial departments of Tercero Arriba, Calamuchita and the north of Río Cuarto (comprising a population of about 140,000).
