La Tormenta

La Tormenta (English, "The Storm"), is a telenovela in Spanish brought to the United States of America by NBC’s Telemundo network. The telenovela is watched in both the U.S. and Colombia. It has 216 episodes and the series's genre is romance/action. It was very successful on Telemundo and in Argentina.

The series is about a spoiled, wealthy woman who has lost everything except a ranch in the country. There she falls for a macho, rough farmer, named Santos Torrealba. It continues with her persistent opposition to the fact that she loves him, but later on she realizes her love for him is the only thing worth living for when times are rough.
