La Salle's cadet batallion was first formed in 1891. Presently, all high school students at La Salle are enrolled in that Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) Program. The goal of this program is not to prepare students to be soilders; rather it is to instill discipline and provide leadership experience[2].
