La Resistance (South Park song)

La Resistance is a song sung near the end of the South Park movie, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. It starts out with the boys having their meeting to discuss the rescue of Terrance and Philip. Gregory of Yardale, who is present at the meeting, breaks into the song first. It begins at a slow, soothing piece, but then breaks into a slightly-faster, triumphant pitch, with the rest of the kids (minus Stan, Kyle, and Cartman) providing the chorus. Soon, the scene switches to the kids' mothers, who reprise Blame Canada. Next, it switches to a scene of the fathers and other male characters at a military base, marching in place and singing about 'Tomorrow Night', Terrance and Philip's execution. Following that, it returns to Hell, where Satan reprises Up There, before returning to Terrance and Philip's cell, where they reprise Uncle Fucka. Finally, the boys join in singing 'La Resistance' the song, with everybody participating singing over each other's lyrics, until they end the medley together by dragging out the endings of their individual songs.
