La Raza (radio)

La Raza is the name of a radio network which broadcasts regional Mexican music in the U.S. state of California. La Raza has two stations, with one operating as 97.9 in Los Angeles and another one as 93.3 in San Francisco.

93.3 (KRZZ) was newly formed in 2004 and broadcasts to Spanish-speaking audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area. La Raza plays mainly norteño and banda music, but sometimes also plays cumbia and salsa.

97.9, based in Los Angeles, also broadcasts to Mexican Americans in the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
