La Pintana

La Pintana is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located on the province of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It is one of the poorest comunas in Santiago. It has an area of 30.6 km², a population of 190,085 (2002 census) and an average household income of $11,319 in PPP US dollars (2000).
