La Perla District

La Perla is a district of the Constitutional Province of Callao in Peru, and one of the six districts that comprise the port city of Callao.

The current mayor of La Perla is Pedro Jorge López Barrios. It was officially established as a district on October 22, 1964.

The district has a total land area of 2.75 km². Its administrative center is located 18 meters above sea level.

According to a 2002 estimate by the INEI, the district has 66,826 inhabitants and a population density of 24,300.4 persons/km². In 1999, there were 13,358 households in the district.
