La Jarrie is a commune in the canton of Jarrie of the Charente-Maritime in the département in the Poitou-Charentes région in France. It is the seat of the canton of the same name but commonly without the La. It is the few municipalities that another major commune has the same population in 1999 and it is Sainte-Soulle.
