La Cañada Astronomical Observatory, is an amateur facility in Ávila, Spain privately owned by Juan Lacruz, the main activity is the monitoring of asteroids and comets in close collaboration with the Minor Planet Center, the observatory is registered in the International Astronomical Union with the observatory code J87: La Cañada.
