LA Ice Cola is an Australian soft drink owned by the P&N Company. It's similar to Coca-Cola and Pepsi, which are its rivals. It was founded and introduced in some parts of Australia in 1999, and in the rest of Australia in 2000. The drink is mainly a supermarket brand, but is now distributing into the route channel, including independent service stations.
Though its taste is very similar to its rivals, LA Ice Cola seems to go "flat" (lose its carbonation) more quickly than Pepsi or Coca Cola. This may be due to a cheaper packaging process.
The main reason for their popularity is the fact that it is very cheap costing as little as $1 Australian for 1.5 litres.
