L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a commune in the Vaucluse département in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur région.
It is famous for its many antiques shops, and hosts antique markets most Sundays. These are colourful and lively, but many of the items on sale are over-priced and sometimes not very antique! Caveat emptor, as with all antiques. On the positive side, it is a compact, interesting little town with many pleasant waterside cafés and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of each other.
L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is twinned with the town of Penicuik in Midlothian Scotland.
