Līvāni

Livani (Līvāni) is a small town (population approx. 4,000) in central Latvia. It is situated at the junction of the Dubna and Daugava rivers, approximately 170 kilometers east of Riga, the capital.

In 1980-1990, population of the town was approx. 12,300. Later, people moved to other coutries and cities bacause of unemployment an powerty.
