Lånke

Lånke is a former municipality in Nord-Trøndelag county, Norway.
It was created when Nedre Stjørdal was split in three on 1 January 1902. At that time Lånke had a population of 1.449. On 1 January 1914 a district with 38 inhabitants was moved to Malvik in Sør-Trøndelag.
On 1 January 1962 Lånke was incorporated into the neighboring municipality Stjørdal. Prior to the merger Lånke had a population of 1.967.
