Kyp Harness

Kyp Harness is a Canadian social activist and folk singer. He was born in Sarnia, Ontario.
In 1991 he released a self-produced cassette, Nowhere Fast. Harness' first CD release, God's Footstool, followed in 1992. In 1994 he released Welcome to the Revolution. In 2000, he released Houdini in Reverse, in 2001 All Her Love, 2003 saw the release of The Floating World, and in 2004, Kyp put out The Miracle Business
Harness has been associated with other such successful Canadian singer songwriters like Daniel Lanois, Kathleen Yearwood, Mary Margaret O'Hara, Bob Wiseman and Ron Sexsmith. Lanois calls him a "great writer", and Ron Sexsmith refers to him as "my favourite songwriter...it's his lyrics that set him apart. They are every bit as powerful as the best Dylan, Cohen and Lennon combined."
