[edit] Story

[edit] Rival Schools

In Rival Schools, Kyosuke is introduced as a student at Taiyo High School, and the head of the school's discinplinary council. When Taiyo students and employees are being kidnapped, Kyosuke insists that because of his position, that he join Batsu Ichimonji and Hinata Wakaba in their investigation of the incidents.

However, it turns out Kyosuke is working for the organizers of the kidnappings and attacks, Justice High School, specifically his uncle Raizo and older brother (and true mastermind) Hyo Imawano, and was the one who kidnapped Batsu's mother, Shizuku. However, his work with Batsu and Hinata slowly convinced him that Hyo's way to reform society through force was not the best route to take. Eventually, he comes clean about his loyalties to his classmates, and tells them about Hyo's plans. The trio eventually faces off against both Raizo, followed by Hyo, both of whom they defeat. These defeats allow Kyosuke to convince Hyo that there was another way to realize his dream of reforming society, an argument Hyo takes to heart.

[edit] Project Justice

When a Batsu-impersonator is running loose creating havoc, Kyosuke is willing to join Batsu and Hinata in finding out who is impersonating Batsu, as well as personally find out what happened to the now-missing Hyo. Later on, Kyosuke is reluctant to fight his brother when Hyo is possessed by the spirit of their father. Kyosuke, along with Batsu and Hinata, defeat Hyo, but finds that the fight has landed a deadly blow on his twin brother, and he has classmates leave him alone as he mourns in the burning remains of Justice High School. Since that fight, Kyosuke has disappeared, leaving his classmates (and fans) to wonder about his fate.

[edit] Other appearances

  • Kyosuke appears as a playable character in Capcom vs. SNK 2. Batsu and Hinata also make an appearance in his Final Grade Remix super move. Oddly, he is the only "new" Capcom character in Capcom vs. SNK 2 to not be placed in the GBA and PSP port of Street Fighter Alpha 3.
