Kyneton (37°14′S 144°27′E) is a town on the Calder Highway in the Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Australia with a population of approximately 5,000. The railway station is a terminus for some peak trains. Its local government area is the Macedon Ranges Shire and in the federal Division of Bendigo.

Kyneton is famous for its spectacular bluestone architecture, mineral springs, the meandering Campaspe River, lush botanic gardens and historic houses. Kyneton hosts several events during the year including the Kyneton Jazz Festival, Kyneton Daffodil Festival and the Kyneton Cup.
