KYMA, "NBC News Channel 11", is a NBC affiliate in Yuma, Arizona/El Centro, California. It broadcasts over the air on Channel 11 from its studio in Yuma. The station also has a newsroom in El Centro. KYMA is received over the air in Blythe, California in the Palo Verde valley, the southeastern end of the Coachella Valley and the signals are clear to viewers in Mexicali, Mexico.
KYMA currently has news broadcasts weekdays at 5:30am, 12pm, 5pm, 6pm, and 10pm. Weekend newscasts air at 5pm and 10pm. The station was an ABC affiliate when it first went on the air (1965, reinstated 1988), but later switched to NBC during the period that KSWT and KECY-TV (1995) also swapped affiliations. This move left Yuma without a primary ABC affiliate.
