Kyle space

Kyle space, also known as the psiberspace, is an alternate dimension where time and space have no meaning, in Catherine Asaro's novels regarding the Saga of the Skolian Empire.

Kyle space is based heavily on quantum theory and Fourier transforms. A member of the Dyad or Triad constructs information networks in Kyle space called the Kyle Web that interact with locations instaneously across real space. These Rhon psions act in part as the medium for the networks, existing partially in Kyle space, but also as administrators of the Kyle Web that access and manage its information. Less powerful but still strong psions called telops can also access and use the Kyle Web, but cannot construct it or "enter" Kyle space. When a thought is transmitted in the Kyle Web, it exists (is received) simultaneously everywhere across the entire network.
