Kyaw Yin (1873 - 1939), otherwise well-known as Mee-Bone-Pyan U Kyaw Yin in Myanmar (Burma) in 1929, is a person who flew with hot air balloon in many places in Bruma. He flied with his own designed hot air balloon (In Burmese Mee-Bone-Pyan) with an acrobatic action as a stuntman. He tried extensively to get license from British Government for riding hot air balloon (at that time, Bruma was under British colonial).
When he started performance, he was school teacher at Tavoy: [1] High School. At the age of 56 to 66 years, he flied 55 times with his balloon that was 45 feet in height and could fly up to 2 miles at normal weather. Most of his flight income were donated to charity. He tried for the world wide show but failed due to the difficulty to get license. His last performance was in 1939 in Tavoy and he died at that year.
