Kwikset is a lock manufacturer founded in 1946. The name was derived from the fact that the company's first locks (tubular locks) were relatively fast to install. Kwikset is one of the most popular brand of consumer locks in the United States, with Kwikset blanks available at almost every location where keys can be made.

In 1999, Kwikset became a subsidiary of Black & Decker.
