Kwai Fong

Kwai Fong (Chinese: 葵芳) is an area of Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. The mainly residential area extends to Kwai Hing in the north, Lai King in the south, Tsing Yi Bridge to the west, and Tai Lin Pai Industrial Area to the east. It is part of the reclamation of Gin Drinkers Bay in 1960s.
The local district council is Kwai Tsing District Council.
Kwai Fong is named after Kwai Fong Estate, the first public housing estate. Kwai (葵) is the first Chinese character of Kwai Chung. Before the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) served the area, there were only few private residential blocks west of the estate.
The area also contains two mega-plazas, Metropolitan Plaza and Kwai Chung Plaza. One of the most well known schools in the area is Buddhist Sin Tak College.

Kwai Chung Sports Ground is one of major sports ground in Kwai Tsing District. It provides ground for track and field and football pitch. It is the first one with Tartan track in the district. It is beside Hing Fong Road, opposite to Metropolitan Plaza.
Kwai Tsing Theatre is a main performance venue in the Kwai Tsing District. It locates near Kwai Fong Station of MTR and Metropolitan Plaza.

The area is well served by public transport to Kowloon, via the Kwai Fong Station of Mass Transit Railway (MTR) and buses.
