KVYE, "Univisión 7", is a Univision affiliate in El Centro, California. KVYE is owned by Entravision. Founded in 1968 as a bilingual TV station for Imperial Valley's large Hispanic community, became full-time Spanish language when acquired by Univision in 1990[citation needed]. Co-owned by XHBC-TV channel 3 based in Mexicali, Mexico and KAJB of Calipatria, California.
