KVPS-LP is a Mas Musica owned-and-operated station in Indio, California, broadcasting locally on channel 18. The station airs videos of various Latin American music styles, including salsa/cumbia, regional Mexican, and contemporary Spanish-language hits.
On August 19, 1998 signed on as K63CG, and the station was later granted the call letters KVPS-LP in 2002. KVPS-LP is owned by Caballero Television, and is not related to the similarly-named MuchMusic music video channel in Canada.
On September 25, 2006, these stations will switch to the new MTV Tr3s network, which was created as a result of Viacom's acquisition of Mas Musica.
