KVEW, Channel 42, is the ABC affiliate for the Tri-Cities area of Pasco, Richland, and Kennewick, Washington. It is the sister station of KAPP/Yakima, Washington, the two of which make up Apple Valley Broadcasting. The stations of Apple Valley Broadcasting are also sisters of KXLY/Spokane, Washington.

The station began serving the Mid-Columbia region on October 30, 1970. All three stations are owned by the Morgan Murphy Stations.
