Kvås

Kvås is a former municipality in Vest-Agder county, Norway.
It was created by a split from Lyngdal on January 1, 1909, which also created the new municipality Austad. At that time Kvås had a population of 736.
On 1 January 1964 Austad and Kvås were re-incorporated into Lyngdal. Before the merger Kvås had a population of 493.
The village Kvås is located in the northern part of Lyngdal. Other villages in the Kvås district are Birkeland and Moi.
