Kurt Hiller

Kurt Hiller (also known as Keith Lurr and Klirr (Thule)), born 17 August 1885 in Berlin, died 1 October 1975 in Hamburg, was a German writer and pacifist journalist from a Jewish family. Known for his powerful prose and his philosophical and literary judgement, he was a militant and an outsider. He fought lifelong for socialism, peace and the rights of sexual minorities, and as a consequence made many powerful enemies.
