Kurdistan TV

Kurdistan TV is a Kurdish satellite television station based in Iraqi Kurdistan. Its European offices are based in Netherlands and Germany. It broadcasts programmes mainly in Kurdish language. Other languages such as Turkish and Arabic are also used in some programmes. Kurdistan TV began broadcasting in 1999 and it was the first Kurdish satellite station in Iraqi Kurdistan. It transmits on the Eutelsat for Europe, Western Asia and North Africa, and also on the Telstar for North America. Kurdistan TV is accessible live through Internet and also maintains a website for recent news and commentaries in English, Kurdish and Arabic.
