Kunming International Academy (KIA) is a private international school in Kunming, China. Founded in 1994, it serves the international community by providing education in English for grades PreK-12. The school has an enrollment of over 200 students from over 20 different countries, including the United States, Korea, Australia, Austria, Benin, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Thailand, Germany and the United Kingdom.

KIA uses an American curriculum and is accredited by WASC, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

KIA graduates have been accepted at Baylor University, Biola University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Grand Canyon University, Houghton College, Liberty University, New Mexico State University, Seattle Pacific University, Tufts University and the University of Florida, among others.
