Kuniwo Nakamura

Kuniwo Nakamura (born 1943) was the President and foreign minister of Palau from 1993 until 2001. He served two terms, being reelected in 1996 by a 62%-38% margin over Ibedul Yutaka Gibbons. Nakamura is the son of Japanese immigrants.[1]
Prior to becoming President, Nakamura served as Vice-President from 1988 to 1993.
