Kunisaki, Ōita

Kunisaki (国東市 Kunisaki-shi?) is a city located in Higashikunisaki District, Ōita Prefecture, Japan.

Kunisaki City was founded on March 31, 2006, as a result of the merger between the towns of Kunisaki, Aki, Kunimi and Musashi from Higashikunisaki District.

As of 2006, the city has an estimated population of 43.206 and a density of 136 persons per km². The total area is 317,80 km².
