Kumlong is one of the 15 wards that make up Mokokchung town, Nagaland, India. The ward forms the Western part of Mokokchung and is the largest ward in the town with an estimated population of 5000.One of Nagaland's first High Schools, the Mayangnokcha Higher Secondary School is located here so is Imkongmeren Sports Complex, which is one of the most important sports complex in Nagaland.NH-61 passes through its southern boundary.
