Kujtim Çashku

Kujtim Çashku (born 1950 in Tirana) is an Albanian film director and screenwriter.
Kujtim Cashku started out his career in 1975 as an assistant director after studying at the Institute of Theater and Film Art in Bucharest. Before that, Cashku had studied at the Higher Institute of Arts in Tirana.
Cashku has worked in France, Poland and Germany but is probably best known for directing the 1990 romantic drama film Balada e Kurbinit.
He is head of the Marubi film school in Tirana
