Kuhn(クーン) is probably the most loved character throughout the Roots and G.U. series. Although Kuhn assists CC Corp through G.U. guild, he is in no real relation with the CC Corp. Kuhn is more like a normal player who was chosen to be an Epitaph User and was dragged in. Kuhn described himself as similar to Haseo than anyone else, although the only similiarity would be their Avatars and that they are players of the World that are male. Kuhn is light-hearted and brings laughter to the game players but still has an air of responsibility, especially towards Haseo's control of Skeith.

Kuhn is a Steam Gunner that is slow but has the best fighting style than anyone. Long range and very strong is preferrable than being whipped around by 3 monsters against one player. In the game, Kuhn is first introduced when Haseo and Atoli is teleported by Tri-Edge's Sign. They were teleported to a Lost Ground and see Endrance playing around with AIDA in his hands. After noticing the presence of Haseo and Atoli, Endrance scurries away and an AIDA infects part of the area, targeting Atoli. To this, Kuhn makes his entrance and saves Atoli from being infected. Kuhn transforms into Magus to defeat the AIDA and invites Haseo to be part of G.U. when he realized that Haseo saw everything that had happened. Kuhn would later introduce Haseo to G.U. after they get back.
Although Haseo's negative attitude towards Kuhn is very hostile, Kuhn is nice and light-hearted as usual towards Haseo. Everything about Kuhn would be admirable. High responsibility towards important issues like AIDA, encouraging as he was the former guild master of Canard, and is friendly towards everyone he meets. Oh, he has but only one weakness. Kuhn cannot help himself but to have a lady in his arm in The World. He even mistakes a PC as a hot woman when she is only a grade schooler. Of course, Pi does not really tolerate his actions as he tries to hide is best as possible.
This weakness of Kuhn is first shown to Haseo in the Central area of Mac Anu. Haseo was in the vendors and was hanging out until Kuhn would come back from the "appointment" he had to attend to. It was then when Kuhn was walking with two other female PCs and while talking to them using poetic talk, he slows down and notices Haseo with embarrassment. Haseo then pouts about how Kuhn ditched the lessons of Avatar for girls. Kuhn is then embarrassed and runs away saying that he will email everyone later. Although he may seem like a fool at times like that, Kuhn is probably the strongest G.U. member showed in fights. Kuhn's Avatar has the power to propagate data and escapes Berserk Skeith's Data Drain by this special skill. However, Kuhn made Haseo realize that Avatar use was dangerous and risky by putting himself in the risk of being a comatose. Haseo saw that the Avatar could go out of control and do the same thing Tri-Edge did to Shino to others.
Despite Kuhn's weakness of female PCs, Kuhn can be described as wise and sacrificing. However, getting further affectionate with Kuhn may tell some unexpected things. Although Kuhn is a chick-magnet online, Kuhn actually works at a store and is currently single.
