Kudla (Tulu) is another name for the coastal South-Indian city of Mangalore which is the headquarters of the Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. Kudla is in between the Netravathi and Gurupura (Phalguni) Rivers which flow from the Western Ghats (Sahyadri) to the Arabian Sea.
Many native Tuluvas fondly refer to Mangalore as Kudla
